Emergency first aid and defibrillator training

March 22 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm

| Free

The Community Council for Berkshire is working in conjunction with Heartstart Thatcham to provide a session on Emergency First Aid and the use of Defibrillators. This meeting is being paid for with a grant from Scottish and Southern Energy Electricity Networks Resilient Communities Fund, to whom CCB is grateful.

The training course will be held at Woolhampton Village Hall,  RG7 5RE on Thursday 22nd March at 7pm and will be run by Heartstart Thatcham. The course covers what to do if casualties are conscious or unconscious, bleeding, choking and how to use a defibrillator. A number of villages have defibrillators but most people have never used one so this is an opportunity to ‘have a go’ in case anyone needs to do so in real life. Heartstart Thatcham will also explain how to raise funds to install them where there are none already.

To book a place, which is free of charge, please use the link https://ccberks.wufoo.eu/forms/defibrillator-and-emergency-first-aid/

If you are not able to attend this training, but would be interested in a future training session, please contact the Clerk: clerk@pangbourne-pc.gov.uk
