The Rotary Club of Pangbourne CIO is once again offering Charity Dragon Boat Racing
at the Pangbourne Summer Fete in conjunction with Henley Dragons Dragon Boat Club
- Your crew will consist of 17 people. In each race, led by their drummer beating out the rhythm for paddling, 16 people paddle a dragon boat (a large decorative canoe) along a course of about 250 metres, racing against other teams. Additionally, there is a helmsman who steers. We supply all the equipment, boats, paddles, buoyancy jackets … and a competent helmsman!
