Road Closure - Whitchurch Road

Whitchurch Road will be closed from 10pm to 6am each night from 22 to 25 January 2024. The closure will be between its junctions with A329 Reading Road and Thames Avenue. The purpose of this closure is to enable Network Rail to carry out de-vegetation and repointing works to the railway bridge.

An alternative route is via the B471 from Whitchurch on Thames to Whitchurch Hill to Crays Pond, B4526 from Crays Pond to Goring, B4009 Wallingford Road, B4009 High Street, A329 from Streatley to Pangbourne and vice versa.

Residential access will be maintained throughout, and the diversion will be signed on site.
